I found this great article at blackborder.com that talks about if and when someone should stop playing magic (or any nerdy hobby deemed adolescent ) when they become a “mature adult”. This article touches upon some good points on the perception some people have about many nerd hobbies. That many nerd hobbies are for children and not grown men and women, and that they should conform and stop playing at a certain age.
I do agree that with all hobbies people do need to put there responsibilities first and make sure they are taking care of everything in their life. But when it comes down to something that makes you happy and enriches your life, and doesn’t hurt or affect anyone in the slightest, Whats the problem?
